Heaviest cancerous kidney ever removed -
Eugene Tyner sets world record
PIKEVILLE, NC, USA -- Horse farm volunteer and former prison guard Eugene Tyner, 31, recently had his tumor-ridden kidney removed; the combined organ weighed 11 ounces - setting the new world record for the Heaviest cancerous kidney ever removed.

All it took to remove the beast in Tyner's belly was a four-hour surgery and a navel-to-chest incision. He still carries a copy of his tumor's vital statistics: 332 grams, more than twice a kidney's normal weight.

"I hate cancer," he said. "It's bad in my family. My Aunt Gladys, she had to have her whole bottom end taken out."

When he describes his new outlook, Tyner explains that when he rides out in the country and sees a deer, he no longer looks for his gun or imagines how the animal would taste with some potatoes on the side.
He just appreciates how alive it is, much like himself, one kidney short.

The Guinness World Record for the Heaviest Neck Tumor was set by a 66-year old woman from West Virginia; plastic surgeon C.N. Guerriere removed tumor weighing 8kgs from her neck.

According to Guinness World Records, Wazir Muhammand s/o Abbass Ali Jagirani (Pakistan) had a kidney stone weighing 620 g (21. 87 oz) removed from his right kidney at the Nephro-Urology Chandka Medical College Hospital, Sindh, Pakistan.
