  Largest field hockey lesson: world record set in Australia
   
   COMO, WA, Australia -- The Como Secondary College Hockey Academy staged the world's largest field hockey lesson, an event that attracted 618 participants at Perry Lakes, Floreat and was open to people of all ages and experience levels, according to the World Record Academy.

    The previous world record was set by Cundall Manor School in Yorkshire, UK, on March 25, 2015, and involved 509 people, The Southern Gazette reports.

    The event was held at Perry Lakes, Floreat and was open to people of all ages and experience levels. Event organiser and academy parent helper Jane Scott said the day had been a huge success.     "It brought all the hockey clubs together, people from different clubs were represented and there was a real mix of people," she said
