The Guinness world record for the largest cookie mosaic measures 16.53 m² (177.9 ft²) and was achieved by Leclerc (Canada) in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec, Canada.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest biscuit; it measured 754 m² (8,120 ft²) and was made by the Immaculate Baking Company (USA) in Flat Rock, North Carolina, USA. The chocolate chip cookie weighed 18 tonnes (40,000 lb) and had a diameter of 30.7 m (101 ft).

Participants received registration forms and grabbed a cookie in the hopes of helping set a world record and winning great prizes.

Some of the cookies included prize fortunes that granted participants awards like an Amazon Kindle, Android Tablet, a bicycle, gift cards to local restaurants and more.
