Most Expensive Hamburger: Serendipity 3 sets world record
NEW YORK, NY, USA -- In honor of National Hamburger Month, Serendipity has created a haute cuisine version of the iconic American dish known as Le Burger Extravagant made of a mix of Japanese Waygu beef infused with 10-herb white truffle butter, seasoned with Salish Alderwood smoked Pacific sea salt, topped with cheddar cheese, shaved black truffles, a fried quail egg and served on a white truffle-buttered Campagna Roll, which is topped with a blini, creme fraiche, and Paramout Caviar's exclusive Kaluga caviar; the finishing touch to this incredible burger is a solid gold "Fleur de Lis" toothpick encrusted with diamonds and designed by world-renowned jeweler Euphoria New York, clocking in at $295

The Guinness world record for the the largest commercially available hamburger weighs 144.7 kg (319 lb) and is available for US $1,800 (£1,115.86) at Mallie's Sports Grill in Southgate, Michigan, USA.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Largest Hamburger Patty, set by Loran Green and Friends of Hi Line Promotions, who made a burger of pure Montana beef weighing 2.74 tonnes (6,040 lb) at the Sleeping Buffalo Resort at Saco, Montana.
The World's Most Expensive Hamburger is made of:
Japanese Wagyu beef patty: This "Kobe-style" meat is known for its high quality.
10-herb white truffle butter: A flavorful, creamy butter is infused into the beef. Salish Alderwood Pacific sea salt: Spice gives it a distinct, smoky flavoring.
Cheddar cheese: This cheese is hand-formed by an English cheesemaker and cave-aged (stored in caves with static humidity) for 18 months.
Shaved black truffles: Once referred to as the "diamond of the kitchen," these pungent items are related to the mushroom. Quail egg: Fried and placed atop the burger.
Campagna Roll: Flavored with white-truffle butter.
Kaluga caviar: From Paramount Caviar, these pearls come on top of the roll and feature a buttery, nutty taste.
The World's Most Expensive Hamburger also comes with a "solid-gold, diamond-encrusted toothpick."
The profits of this record-breaking burger will be donated to the Bowery Mission -- serving homeless and hungry New Yorkers since 1879.
This World Record-setting hamburger is available for a limited time for $295.00 with a 48-hour notice.
