The Guinness World Records' record for the most varieties of gin commercially available is 404, and was achieved by Philip Whiteman (UK) at The Old Bell Inn, in Delph, Saddleworth, UK, on 8 April 2014.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest drinks can line; it consisted of 106,300 cans and was constructed by participants from Bridge FM Radio LTD and Bridgend County Borough Council (both UK) at the Bridgend Recreation Centre, Glamorgan County, Wales.
"At first I wanted to specialise in four rare gins that nobody else had, but then we caught the bug and we haven't been able to stop since," said owner Javier San Segundo.
Grapefruit, orange peel, liquorice, ginger and almonds are among the least conventional flavours of the range, but the real prize is a Dutch gin called Zuidam, The Olive Press reported.
The highly-exclusive drink spends a minimum of 20 years in the barrel and at €35 a glass is the most expensive in the bar.
