Largest collection of trolls: Ray Dyson breaks Guinness world record
EDMONTON, Canada -- Ray Dyson, 51, a man of few words, who works as a cement finisher in Fort McMurray, is a collector of epic proportions; he is the proud papa to 1,754 troll dolls, which sets the new world record for the Largest collection of trolls,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness world record for the largest collection of trolls belongs to Sophie Marie Cross (UK), who began collecting in 2003 and, as of 3 December 2009, has 633 unique items.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest display of handmade dolls; it is 3,000 and was achieved by Yoshihito Suzumura, staff at his workshop Chikyu-Ya and volunteers from the local area (all Japan). The dolls were tied through strings and displayed in Chikyu-Ya, Sintou-mura, Gunma, Japan
"I just liked them," Dyson says softly. "A couple guys at work thought I looked like a troll, so I thought I'd get some."
Dyson's collection of little hobgoblins runs the gamut of biker trolls to elephant trolls. He owns caveman trolls, Viking trolls, trolls in overalls and trolls in red dresses. Big and small, plastic and stuffed, some trolls grip hockey sticks while others prefer to dance around in their birthday suits.
He owns so many trolls that they take up two full bedrooms in his house, Edmonton Journal reported.
