Longest Toran: Jyoti Chindak set world record (Video)

The Guinness world record for the Longest banner was set by Rotary International PolioPlus India, with a cloth banner measuring 50.4 km (31.3 miles) long and 1 metre (3.2ft) wide.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest aluminum can chain measuring 7.69 km (4.77 miles) and using 66,129 drink cans, was created by Hillcrest Primary School, in Kloof, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Toran is a decorative door hanging, usually decorated with marigolds and mango leaves, or a string that is tied on the door with the flower on it as a part of traditional Hindu culture on the occasion of pooja.
A toran may feature colours such as green, yellow and red.
